At Victoria we study Spanish to becoming more prepared and confident to travel the world and explore other people’s way of living.

The Modern Foreign Language we teach is Spanish and it is taught throughout KS2. At Victoria Primary School, we use Primary Languages Network Scheme of Work. We believe it is important that our children gain experience of another language to help them to understand the culture, similarities and differences of another country. We offer our children the chance to learn how to speak with good intonation and pronunciation and encourage a passion for language and a commitment to the subject. Through learning Spanish, our children are able to develop skills in speaking, listening and responding, reading and responding and writing.
